Registering Synergy Application for REST API Token Access

This section describes how to deploy the Synergy application for testing. Extract the details of this registration for configuration in the Live Platform portal Service Provider tenant. This registration enables Live Platform operators to establish a Token authentication connect with the Operator Connect portal via REST API.

To create a new registration:

1.

Create a new registration on the Service Provider operator tenant; Specify the name of your application as "Project Synergy – Wave 1 testing" and select the Accounts in this organizational directory only (Microsoft only - Single tenant):

Extract the Application (client) ID to notepad.

3.

Extract the Directory (tenant) ID to notepad.

4.

Copy the Client secret to notepad.

5.

In the Live Platform portal, configure the above extracted parameters (see Configuring Operator Portal Tenant).
